Letter to my Sister: All The Best Dadangu, Kadzo
After more than ten years in marriage, I have come to understand that not all unions are the same—some carry a deeper weight, a greater purpose, and a calling that goes beyond the ordinary. As I reflect on my own journey, I can humbly say that what my sister is stepping into is far greater than what I would call a “normal” marriage like mine.
My dear sister, you are not just preparing to be a wife—you are stepping into a higher calling. One that requires strength, patience, wisdom, and unwavering faith. The life of a pastor’s wife is not an easy path; it comes with unseen pressures, silent sacrifices, and responsibilities that many may never fully understand.
Kadzo, you are about to become a pillar—not only to your husband, but to an entire congregation or lets say the community at large. You will be expected to lead, to nurture, to counsel, and to stand firm even when the weight feels overwhelming. Your marriage will be observed, your actions often scrutinized, and your heart stretched in ways that will require deep spiritual grounding.
But within those challenges lies a beautiful purpose—a calling to impact lives, to be a source of strength and encouragement, and to walk hand in hand with a servant of God in fulfilling a divine mission.
Kadzo, my dear sister, I pray that you step into this season with grace, courage, and a heart firmly anchored in faith—because this is more than marriage; it is ministry.
All the best, Kadzo. May God go before you in every step.
